The Maintenance Program
Stain Removal
Typical stains or spills can be avoided or removed by immediate or at least daily treatment. But if they are not given quick attention, they can become permanent stains. It is good practice to have stain and spot removal products and equipment on hand for immediate use.
A person trained in the task of daily stain removal can usually deal with 90% of stains like beverages, food spills, oils and greases. Other spills may require the service of a carpet maintenance professional. Follow your carpet manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning or contact a carpet care specialist for recommendations on appropriate products for common spills.
To search for a specific stain or spill, type the name of a stain or spill in the box below and select "go." You may also select from the list of common stains.
Consult our "Supplies and Procedures" for information on removing common spills and stains.
